Brian O’Mara, a 22-Year-Old Financial Analyst, was Hit and Killed by a Brooklyn-Bound L Train

 

This is 22-year-old Brian O’Mara of Long Island. Brian Omara died after being hit by a Brooklyn-Bound L train on Saturday morning, a little after 8 a.m., near the Third Avenue station. He was walking on the tracks at the time, for unknown reasons. Brian worked as a financial analyst with a firm called Corporate Insight (LinkedIn) for the past 6 months.

Here is Brian O’Mara’s LinkedIn profile. He graduated from the University of North Carolina (UNC) last year. Before working at Corporate Insight, Brian was with The Coaching Mark, where he helped evaluate the tools and content of a web-based service with more than 20,000 users. The service helps student athletes, parents, coaches, and athletic directors communicate and get involved in the athletic programs they are a part of.

Brian was one of four people who died in subway-related accidents this past weekend, including 3 train hits and one man who tumbled down some stairs and died later in the hospital. Check our previous posts on Brooklynian for details.
