Separated at Birth? Scott Rubinetti, Accused of Sexual Conduct With Student, and Adam Sandler

Gothamist, when they’re not updating their Google feed for news on Blue Ivy, has been doing a great job keeping tabs on the latest NYC metro teachers accused of sleeping with their students.

That includes today’s report on Lyndhurst High School Phys Ed teacher and football coach Scott Rubinetti, who allegedly had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a senior girl. What’s more, he bears a striking resemblance to Adam Sandler. And furthermore, Sandler did a bit once about the beating of a high school Spanish teacher. Coincidence?

This is the second New Jersey teacher in as many weeks to be accused of sleeping with a student. Kyle Daniw, 32, who worked at Passaic Valley High School. Daniw was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old former student.

And in Brooklyn, a female high school art teacher in Bushwick, Giovanna Vasconez, was just fired for allegedly sleeping with a student; also, she allegedly gave pot and booze to students. Reports said she hadn’t been criminally charged.
