Brooklyn Do Gooder Award Competition

Vote for Windsor Terrace and Kensington! The Brooklyn Community Foundation is holding the Do Gooder Awards for people who are making a difference everyday with their generosity, creativity, and Brooklyn spirit. Two people from Windsor Terrace (Tom Angotti and Lauren Collins) and four from Kensington (Sean Casey, Amelia Costigan, Ellen Honigstock, and Maggie Tobin) have been nominated.

The five winners of the borough-wide contest will win $5,000 each, to be awarded to a recognized 501(c)3 charitable entity working in Brooklyn of his or her choice or to a Brooklyn Community Foundation Field of Interest Fund.

To vote, go to http://www.dogoodrighthere.org/ and create a profile. You can then begin voting. You can place five votes each day. Go to the "All Neighborhoods" pull-down bar to select Kensington and Windsor Terrace, and vote! You can vote every day until the end of the day on October 15th.

Other neighborhoods are beating ours, so, go, Windsor Terrace and Kensington!
