NATLFED cult at Atlantic Antic, other street fairs

At the Atlantic Antic yesterday, this was the table for the Women's Press Collective, which is there every year, and at other Brooklyn street fairs. The WPC claims to be part of a loose association of liberal groups that help organize and provide benefits to migrant farmers, public-housing tenants, and other poor people. But it's been identified as one of many fronts for a centrally controlled, Stalinist political cult called the National Labor Federation, or NATLFED, which does little to nothing to help their claimed beneficiaries.

Some good links about them:

The Wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Labor_Federation gives a "neutral" (though there's debate over that) perspective.

Many investigative articles about the group are republished at http://freedomofmind.com/resourcecenter/groups/n/natlfed/ and http://www.rickross.com/groups/natlfed.html.

http://exnatlfed.wordpress.com is an ex-member forum.

Here's a list of the front groups, which call themselves "entities," per http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NATLFED_entities:

Comments

  • They are well positioned to become the next ACORN.

    ?Stalinist Cult?

Hey, if they can make either individualism or collectivism work, more power to them!

Individualism under the guise of Collectivism?

It sounds a little crazy and fun, but equally unachievable.
