Volunteer: Inspire Kids to Love Reading — Brooklynian

Volunteer: Inspire Kids to Love Reading

We really need you this week for our literacy programs in Crown Heights! Help students in a high-need Brooklyn public school become lifelong readers.

Behind the Book is a non-profit organization that brings accomplished authors into classrooms to guide students in creating their own creative projects. Our programs are part of the class curricula, and have a successful record of building literacy skills.

No experience or training is necessary to volunteer. You'll coach and encourage students as they write, research, and create artwork.
