Events this Saturday and Sunday at BWAC:

Saturday, May 21st, 1pm-5pm  :  New York storyteller Marty Kleinman has assembled his dream-team of spoken word artists – including Honor Molloy, Terence Degnan, Kate Cantrill, Mellini Kantayya, Dan Kleinman, Lauren Belsk, Nicole Callihan, Charlie Vasquez, Amanda Tiller, Jack Wilson, Jimmy Newell, Martin Kleinman. Take a look at Marty's blog, the real New Yorkers: www.therealnewyorkers.com

Sunday May 22nd

1:00 p.m.: UnPlugged in Red Hook concerts with: Malcom Smart--whose tunes are sometimes funny songs of lost love (never his fault, of course), sometimes angry political rants or perhaps an observation of the mundane through his blurry bifocals. rinkyroadshow.com

3:00 p.m. Al Lee Wyer--With his thicker-than-water Brooklyn accent, his storytelling, whether through song or through his long spoken word segments in between, is humorous to the extreme.  alleewyer.com

The show is open weekends 1-6PM and runs through June 12

481 Van Brunt (Door 7) in Red Hook.
