Does anyone use Zip Car, specifically the lot down on Bond and President? I was just wondering how competitive it was to reserve a car there on weekends, stuff like that.

Long time ZipCar user, but not that lot. In short -
- Holiday weekends are tough, plan well ahead.
- The pickings can be slim on the typical weekends, with the less expensive cars going first.
- If you want it for the whole weekend, plan well ahead - two or three day blocks are much tougher to come by than just one day.
- If you need a larger capacity vehicle, for furniture hauling or whatnot, plan ahead, as well (on the weekends)....not that there's anything wrong with that. -
I use zipcar as well, but not that lot -- although what's great is you can go to other lots too -- so if you need a car and there aren't any at that lot, you can go to another nearby lot to get a car. There are tons of lots in the area.
