O.K. Here's my story. I'm moving to Bridge St. and Willoughby in the near future. I need some recommendations on some restaurants within walking distance from there. I also need take out options. The best pizza around is also very important to know. I imagine I'll be venturing to Fort Greene,Brooklyn Heights and Boerum Hill for the most part. Those neighborhoods seem to have the most options. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

you might do better poking around the Outer Boroughs board on Chowhound . . . not too many users at this point appear to be working/living around there (you can start a trend
)
there's a runnng thread on the FG/BS/CH board on Ft Greene favorite restaurants, and personally I'm rather fond of Carribean "Stir It Up" on Atlantic Ave in BHill. Nice, tasty, and they have seitan and vegetable dishes that are veeeeeery handy when you don't want to eat meat (or your friends don't.) -
Thanks pitu Good lookin out.

Street Shooter, there is a restaurant in Metrotech that my dad used to swear by for mid-day business lunches. There is also a decent restaurant in the Mariott (although its probably pricy for a regular spot). Not sure how late either one is open as that area hasn't traditionally had a huge residential presence. You've also got Junior's on Dekalb and Flatbush which is a five minute walk from you, but you should plan on heading either south to Smith Street, east to FG or west to the Heights for most of your dining needs.
