Several weeks back, one of the bartenders at James mentioned that they were going to start serving brunch some time soon.

Does anyone know if James is offering brunch yet?

I asked last night was I was walking by and was told that brunch is still six or eight weeks away.

I think James is finally offering brunch on Sunday's! Looked at the menu on their website and it looks pretty delicious. Has anyone been yet?

They were open for brunch yesterday (Sunday) when I walked by. The menu's on the website...a bit out of my range!

had brunch there today with my mom and a close personal/ex-work friend. the price was pretty high - I spent almost $100 on two. however, my meal made up of sides (thick cut bacon, whole grain toast and berry salad) was delicious. and the blood orange bellinis are to die for. mom enjoyed her burger - she even ate their ketchup which is not her thing - and friend enjoyed the poached eggs with steak. it was quiet, we had a fun conversation, and it looked like everyone was enjoying their brunch. the pulled pork looked amazing. and did I mention the booze being awesome?

in all, great brunch. price-wise, comparable to some of the fancier bistro brunches in manhattan. upside? quick line - it's far more pricey than beast.

Wait....brunch for 2 people was $100? (or did I read that wrong/not pay attention?)

I guess if they got three bellinis each it could get up to $100 for two people: http://jamesrestaurantny.squarespace.com/brunch_menu/

Not a big meat eater, but $100. for brunch seems unreasonable for two in Brooklyn.

This price was for dinner, not brunch.
