Our beloved nanny, Janice Ferguson, who has been part of our family for the past 2 yrs, is no longer needed by us starting in July. Our 2.5 and 4.5 will be in full time camp and then into full time school in fall. She has raised our 2.5 yr old since he was 7 months old and has also taken loving care of our daughter who is now 4.5. Playing at the Underhill playground, taking them to neighborhood playdates, the library, music classes, etc. with unconditional love as if they were her own. She has tons of energy and enthusiasm and just truly loves kids. You'll often see her with a circle of kids around her because of her warm spirit.
Coming home from work with both kids bathed and fed and in their jammies with smiles on their faces took such a strain off our day.
I have known her for about a year before hiring her and talked to and am friends with several families she has worked for and who all love her! In fact strangers come up to me all the time telling me how great she is with our kids. We are so sad to have to say good bye. She comes highly recommended by many neighborhood parents and we hope to help her find a new happy future family.
