Brownstoner » Development company Hello Living is working on its tenth residential build for the neighborhood, this time a little further east into Crown Heights. The lot in question is 843 Sterling Place, between Nostrand and Rogers avenues. According to the Hello Living website, site surveying began this month — the picture above is from the website. No action yet on the DOB front, but they have plenty of space to work with! The other Hello Living development, on the corner of Washington Avenue and Pacific Street, is still under construction.

For better or worse, the change on Nostrand is going to make the change on Franklin look minor.

Great. That lot has been a festering rat den for years.

I wonder how long it has been vacant.

Unclear. That's the wrong address -- 843 is on the north side of the street, and is actually also known as 762 Nostrand (where there's a corner bodega):

At some point in the near future, Google street view should unveil a time machine feature.

It would allow users to look at a given street as it was when the street view mobile drove it on previous dates.

I realize that it would only go back to, say 2004, but it would still be awesome.
