Well, I lost my bike lock key. I can assure you it's my bike since it's locked to the banister inside my building...(I have other proof too...)...

Tried a car jack to pop it open but I can't get the leverage I need without messing up my bike.

Anyone happen to have a pair of clippers, liquid nitrogen or another bright idea that i may borrow?

PM if so...I'd prefer not to pay the locksmith $25 to do what seems like a 2 minute job...(granted I have spent the last hour trying to figure this out...)

is this the kind of u-lock you can pick with a bic pen?

Well, not sure about the bic pen since I don't have one but I'll grab one from work tomorrow and try!

I have a "Bad Pack Attack" U-lock. I tried to google it to find you an image but came up with nothing. It's pretty old - I've had it for years (hence I have no idea where the spare key is...). It looks like a standard black ULock...

i panicked for a hot minute there til i noticed the date of that article. here's hoping that problem was actually fixed in the newer Kryptonite U locks (bought mine in 06). either way, getting a legit chain and lock this week. anyone wanna buy my potentially secure U lock?

    5. Talk to one of your friends with a skill saw. I've cut U-locks off in seconds with a masonry blade in a skill saw.

So, no go on the bic pin. And, I can't say I have many friends with such saws. Anyone else have any bright ideas?
