It never fails -- after every snowfall, each of the buildings along EP shovels a decent path in the sidewalk, but the area in front of the Garden on top of the Shuttle train entrance remains an icy mess. Whose responsibility is it to clear this area? The MTA? The gardeners? Anyone know?

I've been wondering that myself. Every time it snows, they do nothing. I keep wanting to ask the clerk, but I'm ALWAYS late for work so I never have time to stop and ask. Or we could call 311.... It's not the gardeners. It's probably the MTA, I would think."...you can choose the rain....but I choose the sun..." - N. Costa

i called 311 about the sidewalk areas under the shuttle overpasses on st. marks, prospect & park place (thinking it was MTA) and was told it is DOT call 212-639-9675 to complainthe further you go out on a limb, the harder it is to keep your balance
balance is overrated -
Whenever I call 311 to make a complaint about somone who does not shovel in front of their property I am told that they are not accepting complaints at this time. So basically, when it snows, they don't accept complaints which is exactly when you need them to. A little annoying.
