Friday morning I left for work and there was a dog in the entrance way to my apt building. He had followed someone in my building home (Dean and Bedford) Thursday night, but refused to enter the building. The individual was going to take him to a shelter Friday, but I decided to keep him at my place (after falling for him) and see if he belongs to anyone.

Friday I took him to the vet and he doesn't have a chip and is in pretty good shape beside being extremely dirty. We've walked all around the neighborhood and nobody seems to recognize him.

The only info that I've have heard is that he was abandoned by someone whom hasn't been seen in months, and that he has taken shelter in a junkyard. He is not use to being inside or being on a leash.

I believe he is a Rottweiler and possibly some lab mixed in. I've given him the name Leroy Rochester and I am trying to find out if he belongs to anyone?

If anyone has any information please let me know.

Otherwise he has landed on the perfect doorstep.

      Thanks for taking Leroy in!

      He is a big guy!!

For better or worse, the change on Nostrand is going to make the change on Franklin look minor.

I do believe you've got yourself a dog.

Rottweiler and Lab is a great mix. My brother had such a dog. They are outdoor dogs naturally so don't be concerned about the "indoor" thing. Very loyal dogs and can be easily trained. One lucky dog.
