Hi neighbors. I'm sure many of you have noticed the homeless woman wandering up and down Franklin Av. (mostly between Lincoln and St. John's), day and night for the past 2 weeks. She sometimes sits in the laundromat next to Dutch Boy or on the bus stop bench outside.
She's wearing a dirty orange tank top (sometimes with a beige hoodie) and black sweatpants. She mutters to herself, sometimes yelling out loud, but doesn't seem to be aggressive toward people. She's usually smoking a cigarette and I've seen a few people give her food or coffee.
I've wondered if I should call some authority to take her to a shelter? I have no idea how this works (she may not even want to go). Any feedback or advice? I'd like to help her, if possible.
