Subletting a room for the September and October for $1660 total for both months includes all utilities.
Our bright and quiet apartment on the top floor of a 4 floor walk up has wood floors and high ceilings. Also slightly substandard - but clean - kitchen and bath -- hey, what do you expect for the price?!
The room is pretty big -- a double bed, a large desk, and still room to do yoga videos. The hall is long enough to do a couple of cartwheels, if you must.
One block from gorgeous Prospect Park and one block from the Q train. When you hit the train right, you can be in downtown Manhattan in 20 minutes, Midtown in 30. SO FREAKING SWEET.
West Indian neighborhood currently being 'discovered' by hipsters, it's a great combo... inexpensive with great Jamaican food and West Indian groceries but dotted with an artsy cafe or two. Liquor store only steps away, what more do you want, really? The Botanical Garden and Zoo are also close by, as is the beautiful Brooklyn Library.
You will be sharing the apartment with me, a 30 something social worker who is very busy. I would like to meet with whoever I live with so let's set up a time to see the apt.
Prefer someone mature (late 20's & up).
