We lost our cat 'Handsome'. He's a brown and grey striped tabby with white socks, white belly and a white blaze on his forehead. He was wearing a blue collar with his name and my phone number on it. He is very friendly. He was last seen at the laundry city laundromat on the corner of St. Marks and Grand Ave. on August 7th. Please help us find him, he is dearly loved. If you see him please contact me ASAP at 917-548-8746. There is a $200 reward to whomever helps us find him.

I would first of all advise you not to look a lost gift cat in the mouth. Cats have a strong negative value, and a lost one is only saving you in the long run much expense and heartache.
But if you really want the cat back for some crazy reason, you should know you are missing a digit in your phone number.

http://www.postimage.org/Upload from you computer the image and this website will give you a link to that image. Copy the link and when you come back here and click the IMG button above the text box. Paste the link into the pop up IMG window. Send post. Done.

Ask around at local vets offices, and ask to leave a flyer up, also go to pet supply stores and do the same, and go to the Brooklyn AC&C with a flyer of him ans ask the people who work there if you can have a look at the new intakes and leave a flyer up. Also post on Tabby Tracker and Petfinder with pics. It should go without saying you should paper the area he was last seen in as well.
Dont give up looking for him, bring a bag of treats and call his name listening for a meow. Early morning is best as street traffic is light and kitties are more inclined to poke their heads out. I can put up a post on the feralcat listserve as well for nearby rescuers to keep their eyes out.

Fido Brooklyn can also post your kitty on their site if you email the info and photo to him.

Be sure to post flyers for him. I haven't seen any flyers up about him missing. Put them on colored paper so that they are easy to see.
