I just came across two yelp reviews for a restaurant/lounge called Maison Fong,
allegedly at Ocean Ave. and Lincoln Rd:, in PLG.

It's said to be a "kind of "old New York" establishment with a modern, lively
flare" that has a roof deck, a "bar with a great selection of whiskeys and
scotches" and to serve food like "mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto fired with a
blow torch until crispy and oozing cheese, on top of a house made puttanesca
sauce" and "pan Seared Pork Tenderloin crusted with rosemary and thyme, served
with goat cheese whipped potato and oven roasted tomatoes". The only negative
note listed is that "it can be difficult to get into".
It sounds wonderful, BUT I don't think it actually exists. Is "Maison Fong" a
joke. or is it some sort of super-exclusive hidden supper club (or an illegal
after-hours bar)? Has anyone heard about this place, or ever been inside? Am I
just too old to get it, or get in?
