I wasn't sure which forum to post in, but I think everyone will see this on the main page. Feel free to move it, admins.

From the Prospect Park facebook page:

Need some extra money? Well, here's an opportunity thanks to Snowstorm Nemo:

Snow Shoveling & Removal at the Prospect Park Tennis Center
      50 Parkside Avenue
Workers needed at 9 PM today (2/8) for snow shoveling and removal from the paths around the Prospect Park Tennis Center, located at 50 Parkside Avenue near Coney Island Avenue. Pay is $11 an hour payable through our payroll system (this means you will receive a check and need to present valid ID such as an unexpired license and SS card OR an unexpired passport).

If you have a shovel, please bring it!

Please call 718-436-2500 for more information and advise you are inquiring about snow removal. Please ask for Chevoun Anthony until 5 PM. After that, please ask for the Front Desk.

Whether you are getting paid for it or not, don't forget about the hydrants....

Helping the people who help save our lives is often a good idea....

For better or worse, the change on Nostrand is going to make the change on Franklin look minor.

Where were you when I was a teenager begging for such work!

I wish we had a teen nearby that would do this. I've asked around and tried the block list serve with no luck. I'd love to have someone I can rely on if I'm out of town when it snows. I don't mind shoveling, but if a kid wanted to do it, I'd gladly pay them just to encourage him/her.
