Dear S.O.S. Supporters,

Sadly, there has been yet another shooting in Crown Heights this week. On Monday, September 17th, a man was shot on Bergen Street between Revere Place and Albany Avenue. Please join us TOMORROW (9/19) at this location at 6pm for a shooting response.

are any of these shootings being covered in the daily news/post?

where can one go to get more information on these kinds of events and police followups? Precinct council meetings? Is there a website?

Shootings are often not covered by the mainstream press, unless they result in a fatality. Or, occur at someplace like a school playground during school hours.....

Very little in depth coverage of specific incidents is provided. But, yes, the Pct Mtgs will give you an idea of how frequently, when and where they tend to occur.
