My husband and I would like to spend a few hours volunteering on Thanksgiving Day, but can't seem to find anything we can do in Crown Heights/Prospect Heights.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks!

The church located next to the beer distributor on Washington Ave has a kitchen it uses to serve meals to the poor.

I'm pretty sure they host holiday meals.

      Washington and Dean?

For better or worse, the change on Nostrand is going to make the change on Franklin look minor.

I would love to know myself. Since I don't celebrate the holidays with my family, I would love to do something positive with my time, but I can never find any volunteer organizations to help out. I have done stuff with NY Cares, Food Pantries, OneBrick.org, etc.
