I was walking along Clermont Ave (between Green Ave and Lafayette) and walked past this stretch of ivy covered wall. I was incredibly startled as the ivy started to talk and move -- then noticed it was a man on stilts who stood a good 8-9 feet tall. He was covered in greenery from head to toe! He noticed I was startled and we both shared a laugh for a second (although I felt a combination of fear, awkwardness, and confusion...) He said something kinda cooky like "I'm feelin really green today".

I continued walking down the street trying to make sense of what I saw but didn't know what to think. I turned around just to make sure I saw all of that correctly only to see tree guy walking down the sidewalk on his stilts in the opposite direction as though dressing like a tree was the most natural thing in the world for him.

The only thing I could come up with is that he was some kind of a performance artist?

Has anyone else seen tree guy? I swear to you I am not crazy, lol - this really happened! Just curious to know if anyone has any info on this guy.
