Is it a conspiracy or incompetence on the part of NYC that results in parking tickets still being issued when alternate side street parking has been suspended?

I vote for conspiracy. They figure some folks will get it and pay it no matter what, so its worth the effort it takes to write the ticket.

Was it a parking ticket? I know on Underhill the cops have been looking at the registration and inspection tickets and have gone on a ticketing blitz over that.

@stacey, it is definitely a parking ticket for parking on the wrong side of the street, actually under the BQE, at 3:30AM on August 15th when we ALL know that alternate side street parking has been suspended for the Feast of the Assumption.

That's why I think it's a conspiracy.
