Well I got the answer for myself.Me and a few friends mosied over to the restaurant and we were glad we did. Simply said, the food was delicious, cheap and plentiful.i mean really big portions for under eleven dollars for what i had.. I had the ribs mac and cheese and yams.I can honestly say it will serve me two days minimum. And i eat alot.My friend had the fried chicken greens and potato salad.Scrumptuous.And the last dish was the whiting and fries.Another slam dunk.they have lunch specials for five and six dollars plus change and my iced tea was pretty good.oh it is takeout only.

Yes sad to see Michael Allen's go out, however, hes vending his desserts at Fresh Fanatic (under BQE, Park Ave) and possibly does their sandwiches as well. I saw a former employee of his there as well. Didn't get anything, but worth checking out if you're craving his stuff.
