Is there a directory or listings of the places in Fort Greene/Clinton Hill/West Bed-Stuy where one can volunteer at kitchens for Thanksgiving? Anyone know any likely places?

My fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha, is hosting our annual Project Homeless food drive. Thursday, November 24, 2011, 10am-1pm. We'll be stationed right across the street from a homeless shelter, next to the Port Authority in Manhattan, 41st Street and 9th Avenue. Asking volunteers to serve food AND, if you can, bring a hot pan of food with a serving spoon, or sandwiches, drinks, pastries, take-away containers, disposable plates, cups, napkins, and utensils, and sternos, wire-frames, aluminum trays and foil, and lighters/matches. In the future, CDCS (on Classon Ave) is a great place. You can volunteer year-round in their food pantry. And they have an indoor, hydro garden.
