Without a doubt the intersection of Hall Street & Park Avenue has to be the most dangerous intersection in the neighborhood.
There was pretty bad crack up on Monday morning (09/19) which closed the intersection and caused traffic to be detoured, there was another one on Wednesday (09/21) and according to residents who live on Hall Street there were four more on the weekend. Luckily, thankfully, no one has been killed yet.
The majority of the problems seem to stem from the fact that after cars traveling westbound on Park Avenue have turned left on to Hall Street they are unable to see the eastbound traffic on Park Avenue. This is due to the cars that are parked under the BQE obstructing their view.
Residents on the street have tried reaching out to the DOT, news channels, etc.. but to no avail.
If you travel through that intersection please be careful. If you have any suggestions on how this intersection can be improved please share them.
