I'm moving into a new apt on 5th and 23rd. What are my options for cable/internet? Thanks

Not very many. TV you're stuck with Time Warner or a Dish. Internet is also TW or Verizon DSL. I doubt Verizon FIOS will make it to us soon.-------------

I thought Optimum Online was available as well, no? We're TWC cats, especially since the Boro hub just up 5th Ave.A word or two from the highest point in Brooklyn--Greenwood Hts.

Wasnt availble to me at 22nd and 7th. But I have had no problems with TWC to be honest. I had no HDTV reception and they sent technician after technician until it was fixed, even reimbursed me for lost service without my asking.-------------

Subject: cable...revisited
Just moved to 21 btwn 5th and 6th,(new construction) and am having the worst possible time trying to get TWC. We're on the side where the church is. I can't imagine that st. John's condos wouldn't have cable access. Could it be possible that TWC just doesn't wire our side of the street? Freaking out here. Husband is a graphic designer and needs his Internet. I'm missing my trashy tv.:(

TWC has served me just lovely. Their internet service is more adequate than i was expecting to with 3 computers in my apartment using it at once."the radio makes hideous sounds"
