from CCGH:
Evening,From CB7. The plan is to unite the local electeds with the CBOs (ie. RightRides, Safe Slope, The Center for Anti-Violence Education (CAE) , etc.) for a concerted effort beyond the ongoing NYPD investigation.
I hope folks can make time to attend, especially those who are part of the organizations that have advocated for change and safety measures for the community.
While I realize there have been many meetings and rallies, it is important to show our unity and demand even more oversight and commitment from our local electeds. We know we have their support (as we say everyone line up on Tuesday night and last night at CB7), now I'd like to suggest they show it...hands on.
Please spread the word to folks not on these list serves or print out a few copies and post them up on your block.
Thanks in advance.
Any questions, comments, etc. can be directed to me or CB7 to fwd to the committee chair Dan Murphy. You can e-mail CB7 or call 718-854-0003.
These evil men cannot keep our community down!
