    1. Colson's of Park Slope on 9th between 6th and 7th aves:
      main location website

has another location:36 street between 2nd and 3rd avenue in Sunset Park. There is an actual storefront inside a weird abandoned factory looking building.
A co-worker of mine, who must just wander around the warehouses by the river happened upon this additional location. I think this is mainly their baking location, however if you live nearby or work nearby, its a great place to get a scone and coffee. Their blueberry scones and coffee have the Miss Piggy fat chick erm MY seal of approval.

The downside: Unless you are REALLY looking you won't find it, as there is NO signage whatsoever. Its like 250 or 254 36th street on the ground floor of what looks to be a receiving (loading dock area) of a tan factory building. Look for the receiving area with an orange and black sign (not related), hanging above the receiving dock. When you walk up three steps and go into the building there is cool Egyptian themed mural artwork inside the receiving room.

Folks, you can never go wrong with a fat chick telling you about good eats.

I've never really thought about fat as a credential.

For better or worse, the change on Nostrand is going to make the change on Franklin look minor.

How about: " physically verifiable proof of professed love of all things, carby, greasy, and yummy"

Who doesn't love a pastry covered in epistemology?

Do you know what hours/days they are open?

It's so hard to be a saint in the city.
