Hi all!
The college advising process can be intimidating, but I am here to help you achieve your dreams.
My students have attended Ivy and top-tier liberal arts colleges. I have 8 years of experience in college admissions counseling, as well as significant training, including participation in the Harvard Institute for College Admissions, the Time Warner Counselor Training, and membership in NACAC and other local and national professional circles. I am an Amherst College graduate and currently the executive director of a small NYC-based nonprofit dedicated to helping working-class students gain admission into selective colleges and universities. I have also helped struggling high school students identify a college-going plan.
My approach is caring and rigorous. I guide my students through their creation of a compelling college admissions package, start to finish--from identifying schools to completing applications, including the personal statement and additional/supplemental essays.
My rate is $75/hour, and I tailor my services to meet a students'/family's needs.
