      Cover? $6.00.. or $5.00 IF you bring a can of food for CHIPS soup kitchen OR something for the gingerbread house

      What are we celebrating?
      Well, last year was our hosts' first Holiday party together as a threesome, and it will be a tough one to follow! Wonderful people, lots of them, great burlesque and DJ. We've made it through another year of ideas and collaborations coming to life, expanding, and taking over the world, and we want to drink to this! Come celebrate with us...

      The Night's Festivities:

      Collaborative Gingerbread Construction! Bring material to contribute to the Gowanus Gingerbread House. Together we'll build (and maybe destroy.. yum..) an inspired object from edible confections. Your hosts will provide basic gingerbread construction materials...

      Brooklyn Gin geniuses Emil Jattne and Joe Santos are designing a unique gin and ginger punch for the evening

      DJ Treetop is an interstellar traveler, making a pit-stop on Earth. He will spin early 90s hip hop + some holiday themed disco and funk.

      Several short sets by comedians: Kurt Braunohler, Brooke Van Poppelen, Nick Turner

      A bit about your Hosts:[/i]

      OVERFLOW is a quarterly magazine geared toward the overeducated and the underutilized. Their readership is comprised of young adults who strive to break away from the stagnant ennui of extended adolescence. South Brooklyn focused, OVERFLOW serves their readers by wading through the endless supply of stimulus available in our great city in order to find the best, brightest, and most progressive opportunities, activities, and diversions.

      Brooklyn Craft Central plays host to homegrown, semi-annual craft and food markets in the Gowanus area of Brooklyn. Formed in 2008, BKCC seeks to engage and promote artists, crafters, food artisans, designers and entrepreneurs. This holiday party is happening the very same weekend as BKCC's 2011 Holiday Craft Market, taking place on December 17 and 18 at Littlefield

      Brooklyn Creative League is a Gowanus-based workspace and community for independent professionals. Founded in 2009, BCL gives freelance professionals, small-shop companies, and nonprofits the tools they need to get their work done: affordable, green shared workspace, office amenities, networking events and a community of professional colleagues.

      CHIPS: Founded in 1972, CHIPS has been dedicated to helping the poor, needy, and homeless, and those in emergency situations. CHIPS serves more than 70,000 meals annually. They also give temporary shelter to more than 2,000 each year, and provide assistance in working toward self-reliance and permanent housing.
