      Hi all,

Sorry, been trying to post this in Events but for some reason kept getting errors. For purely selfish reasons, I vote to have the next Brooklynian meet-up at spurn's ten-year anniversary show!

Forget the fact that your 20’s were so long ago. Forget the fact that you've plateaued in your career.

I can do all this for only $15!

      I am so there.

For better or worse, the change on Nostrand is going to make the change on Franklin look minor.

Closing night of what's been a fantastic two-month run is tomorrow, so this will be my last flogging of the show.

      THE LAST spurn!
      Thursday, December 22nd @ 8:00 PM
      Peoples Improv Theater (123 E. 24th Street between Park/Lex)
      Tickets: $15

The 10-year anniversary production of spurn is nearly over, only tomorrow night remains. After Thursday, you will have no more chances to see the nearly sold out production, and you will be sad throughout the holiday season. Sad, I tell you! We leave you with the following critical acclaim for ten years of spurn:

“…sketch comedy that’s as funny and fresh as your parents say Saturday Night Live used to be.”

      -- Crackle.com

"... wickedly funny theatre ensemble performs some of the most inventive and original comedy in town."

      -- BlogChelsea.com

      "Creative genius"

      -- Nylon Newsletter

      "Disgusting, horrifying, amusing."

      -- TimeOut NY

"Leaves its audience gasping for breath between guffaws as its relentlessly funny skits whip past us... the nimble ensemble leaps effortlessly between vignettes, giving the show a blessed fluidity for such a wrenching satiric picture."

      -- The Village Voice

"Consistently funny... spurn shares (Kids in the Hall's) hard-edged, envelope-pushing, vaguely absurdist sensibility."

      -- New York Theatre Experience

      "Side-splitting."

      -- Citysearch.com Editorial
