Was just in B&N with nephew to buy a book. Cost $10 and change. Gave the cashier a $20 and a $1. He gave me the change but not the $10 due. Told him I gave him a $20, he just looked at me; then went for manager. Had to tally the drawer to check. Came back and said the drawer tallied correctly. I said maybe he mischarged another customer. Manager just argued with me....said I made a mistake...on and on. Writing to B&N HQ but beware if you shop there. Total lack of customer service. I definitely am due $10.

Always use a credit card. Don't use cash as it can lead to this type of cheating. Then, the crooks never pay taxes on their excess profits. It has happened to me so I know where you're coming from.
