I've noticed the peeps that run Beer Table now have a brunch and dinner (at least a 3 course on Tuesdays for $25). Anyone have any idea what they are service (aside from the obvious, beer).

I love that place, but don't drink a lot of beer, I'd like another reason to go there, since I feel bad I don't go enough and the owners are so nice and the place has such a nice feel.

I know, I should just pop in, but I have nothing to do at work today, so I thought I'd ask you guys and gals for the scoop.

Ooh, brunch - i was trying to think of a new brunch place to go to this weekend. Although i imagine it might be a bit awkward having brunch sitting at those beer tables.

Did their brunch menu look good? I was trying to find a menu online..

I have not seen the menu, just the little standing sign outside that says they now have brunch.

Their brunch, although intriguing, is expensive (for brunch). Haven't tried it.

Also haven't seen you in ages.

Yeah I read on yelp (I think - or maybe it was eater?) that their brunch is REALLY pricey. I saw pics too - didn't look like much food.

Yet to try it but I LOVE their beer... from Bon Appetit:

On weekends they've just started serving a $23 brunch menu inspired by the mid-morning Bavarian meal of weisswurst (white sausage), a pretzel, and weissbier (white beer). Weisswurst is fresh sausage made from veal, pork, cardamom, and other spices, then boiled and served in its cooking water. In Bavaria, tradition says weisswurst should not be consumed before noon.

My hubby and I had their brunch the first week they offered it. I found it delicious, but not sufficient enough. If they added a third waffle in, it would have been perfect.

On the topic of price, it wasn't cheap. What threw me off a little is that it looked like the beer was included into the price, but it actually wasn't.

That picture, and that price, just don't compute for me, as delicious as I'm sure it is. I like Beer Table but it mostly just serves to reinforce how much farther I have to go before I can really afford to be a yuppie. Which I guess is kind of a good thing?

I'm not sure how much to trust that Bon Appetit article when they get a basic detail so wrong. Why would you let an unpreserved sausage just sit all day? Trichinosis is only fun the first time; after that it gets old fast.

just wanna give a shout out to beer table, even if my first impression was different. this place is amazing!! the care the owners take into describing each beer, letting you try their draft of the day, etc..is unique to this area. it might seem a little pricey, yet one is paying for the beautiful ambience and attention to detail you just can't find anywhere else.

Absolutely love Beer Table. My boyfriend and I like to go and try new beers based on their wonderful descriptions and suggestions. Then we go to Eagle Provisions to buy them for almost half the price.
