I need to find someone to care for my two elderly cats while I am away. I have always relied on the help of one or another neighbor in terms of taking care of my cats but each of them will be away at the same time. I am very concerned about entrusting their care to someone I don't know. Has anyone had an experience with a cat sitter who is completely reliable and trustworthy and who might be willing to water the plants? I would deeply appreciate a referral. Thanks!

Do your cats need medication given to them? What dates are you looking at and what part of PS?

Hi there -
I live in the Slope and have the best cat sitter in the world, Taryn Hunter. I met her at the Prospect Park Animal Clinic, where she works. She is completely reliable and very loving with my kitty, even texts me photos and sometimes videos of my cat when she visits. I've been using her for a couple of years now and couldn't be happier. I rest very easy when I'm away knowing she'll be taking care of my kitty.
Good luck!

I've been using Toniann at Bestpalpetcare.com for years - I was originally referred to her by Mike at what used to be VC Pet on 9th Street. Trust her completely and she can give medications. On one trip, because of the age and health of my cats at the time, I left my cc info with my vet and told ToniAnn who to go to if needed and I had full faith that she would be responsible. As a matter of fact, the first time I used her, she came to my apartment to get the lay of the land and see the cats.

You can also ask your vet for a recommendation. I got to Park Slope Veterinary Care and I know some of their techs pet sit on the side
