There was a horrific fire last night on 5th avenue between Prospect and 17th. Pretty much the entire east side of the block from the highway to the corner was destroyed.
The latin bar, hair salon and supermarket are all totally destroyed, along with the apartments in these four story buildings.
I am not sure if there were any injuries, but the street is still closed off and fireman are still on the scene. I got home around 8pm yesterday and the fire was in full effect.
