Anyone know what's going on? Helicopters have been circling for the better part of the past hour.

Breaking News Network is reporting the following:

Pedestrian Struck | Gowanus Expy Sb Over 6th Ave Brooklyn, NY | 1/16/2013 10:03 p.m.

....so, it could be that, or something that didn't make the network.

The idea that a pedestrian would get struck on the Gowanus makes me think it is likely a fatality, complete with lots of chaos and traffic. That might warrant some helicopters...
