its that time of year again - the time where you try to go anywhere but 200 fifth to watch games on sundays (just a crowd issue). any recomendations - they need to show multiple games and have nice HD TVs, good beer selection, solid bloodys and decent food doesnt hurt

I like Dram, but it does look packed usually during games (I would assume not all of them but I don't watch fball so I wouldn't know.) Dram has a great beer selection, good TVs, cool bartenders and great food from what I've heard. I also have to make a personal plug about the owner- I posted a bad service-related experience I had there when they first opened and the owner personally messaged me, met me at the bar and gave my friend and I a few rounds of drinks. Thats good service (and the service has been exponentially better every time I've been since.)whoa hey whoa hey whoa

200 5th is still my go to for games. But I understand if you want to relax without crowds that it's probably not the place. The first weekend of the season is always the most crowded too. If you have a specific game, try calling Tobys 6th @ 20th and see if they can show it. They have 4 screens so maybe they'll play what you're looking to watch. You can also have some killer pizza.

Cattyshack was the best. Lots of space, big tv, ridiculous $15(?) all you can drink and eat, bbq burgers corn on the cob and other good stuff.

If you can find me a place that has all the pats games and isn't 200 5th I'll buy you a beer every week

I bet one more Italian, two more Thai, and three more sushi restaurants open in Park Slope before we get a sports bar with comfortable seats, huge TV screens that everyone can view, and excellent drink specials.I blame such comments on beer.

my kingdom for a great sports bar. Cattyshack was my old standby, hopefully they can re-open that spot. I think the key to being a great place to watch sports is to not be a sports bar. Funny how that works.Your thin paper wings

anyone know anything about the billiards/sports bar on the corner of flatbush and 8th (where you go down the stairs and possibly never come up)

Any suggestions of a bar to watch college games? And I mean the bars that subscribe to get the ESPN package and don't just show the games on local TV. I had a difficult time finding bars that subscribe last year. Thanks
