Our '99 minivan needs a few large dents pulled out/refinished. We don't need anything fancy, just competent work at a fair price done by honest people.

Anyone know a place that fits the bill? Preferably within walking distance of the center Slope (but I'll consider a train ride if the place is highly recommended)?
i blame such comments on boredom and drinkng, this is why we need more green spaces

Some years ago I dealt several times with:

Culver Collision & Body Works Inc

824 39th St (a couple of blocks from a subway entrance)

      Brooklyn, NY 11232-3230

      (718) 438-4444

They were honest in the sense that they never, ever tried to screw me. However, I have a feeling that they may have overcharged my insurance company.

I had no problem at all with the quality of their work.

Isn't "honest auto body shop" an oxymoron?

I'm from the Government, and I'm here to help you?

I would hate to disparage an entire industry, broad brush and all, but I've never run across one that wasn't into screwing _someone_. What's up with that?
"It's only as boring as you make it."

You're making me want to poke my eyes out with a spoon. Stop that.

Bringing the term thin-skinned to a whole new level!

The guy on 4th Ave between Garfield and Carroll is pretty good. I've been to him a few times for mechanical repairs and he always seemed reasonable.
