      From today

1 To the dad who was standing in the sun with no shirt on wearing a pair of way to tight shorts. Yes you are in good shape, congratulations on taking such good care of your body. However it looks completely ridiculous to do that in a playground filled with little kids. The people looking at you are not as impressed as you think they are. To me you looked like a gay man cruising the piers off the west side highway in the 80's.

2 To the parents of the 8ish year old girl that I saw when I was walking in with my kids. I watched you pull your little girls skirt up practically over her head then you had her squat down an take a piss all over the tree, this was directly to the right of the entrance to the palyground. I then watched you pick her up with her skirt still up around her armpits, carry her bareassed across the playground to the sprinkler where you proceeded to clean her little girl area off with one of the jets of water...WTF?

I almost wish that I was the shirtless dad. Alas, I'm not in such stellar shape. I dont, however, think it's totally inappropriate to go shirtless in the playground. I didn't see the shorts, so I can't comment. Unless the entire package was on display, I don't see the big deal.

      #2, however, is totally disgusting.

Sorry, unless you're at the beach, keep your shirt on around kids. Otherwise you look like a pervert.

Ha, that's nothing! I saw a woman do that with a little girl in the tree pit outside Community Bookstore. Middle of a busy weekend day on 7th Ave, tons of people around. Blew my mind, I could NOT believe what I was seeing. This woman acted like it was totally normal and the little girl had no underwear on!

I have been in that playground a billion times with my kids. I would not have hesitated to shout "Hey, there is a nice public bathroom in the house at the top of the hill." I think the 8 year old would have been happier there.

I have seen that and worse! That is why I never use the water fountains. I have seen owners let their dogs drink directly out of them, people wash the soles of their dog shit encrusted shoes in them, and people pour the rest of their personal soda/juice/water contents into those fountains.

God knows what ecoli, parasitic, herpes leaden bacteria lurks in those public fountains!

That is why I drink the water that comes out of the fountain and not the water in the basin..

Are you certain that the water coming out of the fountain isn't recycled from water in the basin?

I thought you were female. Nobody cares if you are in stellar shape or not anyway, it IS inappropriate to hang around a playground shirtless with or without tight shorts. eew. I bet Mary would agree as well.

And no. 2 should have her head examined. Probably what the shirtless idiot was looking for.

If you describe it as "hang around" shirtless, then it sounds creepy. If you are there and playing with your kids, then I really don't think it's strange at all. The playgrounds are hot and there's lots of water from the play features... I see nothing wrong with having a little fun with your kids. Now, if you're lurking in a corner in the shade on a bench, then yea, I'd probably think that's strange.

It was hang aournd shirtless, like he was trying to pick up. I don't recall seeing him play with a child once.
