slope health and fitness?
is this the same as teh Park Slope Sports Club? Is it a good gym? Are there any good gyms around here? I am all about not joining a gym, but how can you exercise when it's dark out if you don't belong to a gym? a little help?
I go to the Park Slope Sports Club on Flatbush. I dont think the two are connected in any way, but I could totally be wrong. I really like my gym. Its a way relaxed atmosphere. Mostly young people, not a ton of hardbodies, and fairly few slutty workout types. Its also way cheap.
Subject: gymI just rejoined the YMCA on 9th street - between 5th & 6th Avenue after a long lapse of 5-6 years. It's pretty great - reasonably priced, low-key. option of walk in classes, swimming, machines, tread mills, etc -plus the best part - a steam room!!!! Diane

kitties » Park Slope Sports Club on Flatbush.i work out in the mornings at the Slope gym on Flatbush... its awesome... never crowded! my only thing with the place (but has changed some-what) is the front desk people never say 'good morning' or 'hello'... many moons ago, i was the wknd manager at mid-city gym on 50th & 8th in manhattan... so i always look for that. say hi if y'all see me... i many look mean, but im just focused and totally into my workout, but if you wave or say 'hey' you'll get a reply back... -mikei'm a gay puerto rican, greek/sicilian jew!
