if i were sarah jessica, i wouldn't want to live there now that everyone in the world will have the address. if she does move in, i'm going to be across the street 24/7 reenacting her Dance TV audition from girls just want to have fun.

there are plenty of celeb addresses published all the time, including the exact address of Madonna's new place on the UES. It wasn't a big secret when Jennifer Connelley and Paul Bettany lived there... I just hope it doesn't mean tons of paparazzi....

Veets - it's a gorgeous house. There were pictures of it when it was up for sale......

it also isn't a secret where sjp lives now in the west village. her address is widely known.

and yes, madonna's new address has been plastered all over the place lately.

this has got to be one of the most beautiful homes in brooklyn, in my opinion.

mama - she or her character, carrie bradshaw?

      do you know her personally?

because from everything i've heard, she's about the most down to earth non-celebrity you'd ever find.

I saw pictures of it once when JC/PB sold it. Some real estate blog, can't remember.

What I want to know is why the hell does it need a gut renovation?

If I was going to spend 8.5 million on a house I would want more than 3.5 bathrooms, especially since one is all the way up on the top floor.

To remove all that glorious woodwork?

I wonder if it is really a gut renovation or modifications to accomodate more bathrooms .

Well.. I doubt I will get an invitation to check it out when they move in.

Lovely house, nice neighborhood - but $8+ million? Insane price. Even half of that would be crazy.

For better or worse, the change on Nostrand is going to make the change on Franklin look minor.

it also seems they're not gutting the space, as had been orig reported.
