walking up 7th Avenue, at 10th Street, around noon today. From what I could see looking from my position behind him as he walked, was that he was wearing a pair of oversized boxers with obvious shit stains. I know I didn't imagine this. Did anyone else see this or know anything about such a man?

OMG! The heat brings out the wack jobs. Stand clear of the individual and let him live his own life. As long as he is not doing any harm to himself or anyone else there is no reason to call the police or make an issue of this.

Personally, i would be concerned that anyone as unconcerned about society's norms as that guy is could cross the line into violence at any time. Who knows what might set him off? Two young moms with double strollers side by side on a crowded sidewalk? Little kids on razor scooters not looking where they're going? A hipster gabbing on a fancy smartphone?

I'd err on the side of caution and report his dirty ass to 911.

I bet some psychology PhD student has done a study that found a correlation between shit stained boxers as ones only apparel, AND a low frustration tolerance.

I bet the paper concluded that more research and research funding was required before causation could be declared.

Those PhD students never like to take a stand on anything.
