it is not dog friendly.
Washington Commons is (or was the last time I went...)

Am I mistaken or are all bars supposed to be non-dog friendly unless they have an outdoor seating area, per the DOH? I know some bar owner/operators turn a blind eye, but aren't they required by law not to serve the four-legged patrons?

Homeowner, legally dogs are not allowed in bars, not even if it's an outdoor seating area.

Homeowner, you are correct.
...it often depends on which bartender is on duty.

Update: Washington Commons has begun informing patrons that dogs are no longer welcome.
....the DOH fines must now outweigh the revenue from the dog owners.

Clearly Duke needs to tip better when he ventures out.

Dude rarely goes to bars, but when he does, he tips well.
I wonder how much the fine and lost time is....

The only time I met Dude was at a bar.
He's a good drinking buddy.

Sorry folks, although we all love our canine friends at Washington Commons, truth be told, we had an incident a couple of weeks ago that involved one of our bartenders, a dog and a trip to the hospital. Sorry, but the safety of customers and staff must take precedent over sharing a beverage with our pups.
Cheers and thanks for understanding.

That sucks. I hope the bartender is OK now.
What is your policy on babies and strollers?
