Brown Water in Prospect Heights on Prospect Place, Thurs. July 28, 2011

Good morning...started to fill the water jar this morning and the water came out brown...same in the bathroom...cold water.
Wondered whether other folks having same or could it be our water heater? Thanks.

If I don't quite understand you...well, that's all right...if you don't want to understand me...it really doesn't matter.... If we all try to understand each other, well now, just think of what might happen!

You usually get that when construction/city work is happening nearby.

There was lots of work being done on the water main on Eastern Parkway between GAP and the Museum last night.

For better or worse, the change on Nostrand is going to make the change on Franklin look minor.

its normal part of nyc life as mamacita says, when there is work done you get brown water. i get calls from my tenants about this who aren't from nyc all the time :p. i always say google it if you don't believe me lol.
