I had last week off, and took off part of the week before that just as vacation time. My husband insists that pretty much all offices will be closed tomorrow, but I find this kind of difficult to believe. I mean, at some point enough is enough, right? So--does anybody have to go to work tomorrow? If you all say no, my mind will be at ease.

This might be a moot point, as I'm not entirely sure where my office is, anymore.

yeah I'm off, I had the whole week off. I'm ready to go back to work.

I think when Christmas and New Year's Eve fall on a Saturday night (which happens like once every 12 years) the extra monday off should be moved to another day like the day after Halloween or the day after the Super Bowl.

I made a commitment to complete something for a client and have it to her by tomorrow 1/2. I'm not sure whether when we discussed this that she was aware that for many companies (and the the stock exchange, I think, and the post office, I think) it is the de facto January 1 holiday. So I could blow it off get it out on 1/3 and rest all day tomorrow and risk losing a client ... or be on the safe side and just do it and get it over with.

But these "holidays" have gotten me so worn out ... emotionally and physically ... it's never ending ... PLEASE BE OVER, NOW !!!

anyway. what time tomorrow? if you have my number, sms me. otherwise, pm me but expect a delay in waking up considering i'm up at 2:30 a.m.

but yeah. i love mimosas and i love guests.

I went. Office near Rockefeller Center. Pretty much a ghost town. Or maybe a spaghetti western, because everyone I walked past on the way to the subway tonight seemed to be speaking Italian.

You know you should have stayed home when... neither of the Duane Reades near your office is open.

This might be a moot point, as I'm not entirely sure where my office is, anymore.

I was pretty happy to get back to work myself -- had all last week as well; definitely had a oh-yeah-this-place-does-still-exist feeling today.

I was off today. I nakedified my Xmas tree and hauled it out to the curb in lovely January freezing sleet.

I wouldn't mind being off tomorrow, either.

      um.

I really need to be off today. I'm still periodically weeping about my cat. I might be pathetic, but I'm also useless to my coworkers.
