What's up with the fruit Guy on EP & Washington?

He only has like a half a dozen bananas---
and like a couple of plumbs for sale.

Its been like this for weeks.... months?

I wonder if he is paid by the hour, instead of from profit from the fruit sold.

I am told one can respect the beliefs of others, without ratifying them.
