yes it's that time of the month yarn guy and i are hosting another freddy's karaoke extravaganza. there are prizes and the prizes are mediocre. the singing on the other hand is ... amazing. must be believed to be seen. the empty orchestra fires up at 9:00 pm. and goes to about 12:30 a.m.

SING YOUR ASS OFF AND WIN!

You are correct Bill C.! People can sing and win really mediorce prizes, such as a 48 oz. Krakus canned ham packed in gelatin, Beavis and Butt-head collectable butt wipes and so much more!

We're often asked "Is your Karaoke thing really that ghetto?" We proudly reply "Yep". One German woman from Chicago described the evening as "very different" before she passed out at the mike to the tune of 99 Luft Balloons. Hat sie etwat ziet fur uns? You'll have to hear it yourself.

The Brooklyn Papers writer, Lee Cabot Walker had this to say:

So sing your ass off. It's FREE! at Freddy's Wednesday November 15 from 9:00 ish until 12:30, there and abouts.

Here's the same stuff I just said but on a web site with photos and pretty colors:

Well I have NEVER been a karaoke-er, but this is just too good an endorsement! I will be there with bells on!

Man, I wish I could change my username... But -- yay! -- ham!
I mock you with my monkey pants.

But Josseleen is such a pretty name. Very petrol inspired. Don't miss the vocal stylings of Peter Granite in his first-if-ever "Elvis two-fer", and the big Bohemian ending (much like Opera Night but without opera singers).

Did you come up with your karaoke name yet?

Subject: Ciasteczka to przepyszne pysznosci! Schmackzne!!

Whoa! That was one slammed Wednesday night. It was great to see an ocean of new show-offs jockeying for a canned ham. Bill C. and I both said "Holy Crap! Who are these people?" I admit I was frightened at first.

Special shout out to that vegeterian couple on their first date. "I touch myself" may not have been right song to do, but you look like you had wys´mienity fun. Ciasteczka to przepyszne pysznosci "Turn the page"!!! Good luck! Glitter jeans lady, wash the ham first. You'll be surprised at how good this tastes after the protective aspic layer rubs off. To the ANTM table thanks for singing "American Pie", I really needed an 8-minute cigarette break.

Join us next month in December for agnostic X-mas fun, its FREE! and you just might win a ham for the holidays. You don't have be a pagan to be agnostic! Cheers.

ouais, definitely canned ham fever @ freddy's on wed. - though pickled okra not so much. des gustibus. it was a little weird having so many good singers in attendance which seems neither like karaoke or cricket to me. but i suppose when you offer top top prizes your gonna get the talent. every time i hear "eternal flame" new levels of complexity emerge. that song always satisfies.
