Rust Bucket Arena?

      From the renderings of the Ratner arena I know the exterior is supposed to be kind of rust-colored, but the sections that they have up already look really bad. Basically looks like its just really rusty. Does anyone know if the panels that are up already in certain sections are supposed to be the permanent exterior? I hope not since it looks like crap already but I'm not optimistic.

      It's actually a protective coat of rust, it's a sacrificial layer that protects the inner steel.

      yes, the same layer of rust technique is used on Aloha Stadium in Hawaii. It saves on long term costs, because it never needs to be painted.

      For better or worse, the change on Nostrand is going to make the change on Franklin look minor.
