Maybe this fair should try teaming up with the new Prospect Heights flea on Classon and Eastern Parkway (mentioned in this thread: http://www.brooklynian.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=57154) so that the neighborhood has one good-sized Saturday market.

seriously, why compete?I am told one can respect the beliefs of others, without ratifying them.

anyone wanna start in on how both of these are in crown heights, not prospect heights?
you're welcome to stay, but even your company must compliment the feng-shui. -
kinda makes it look like people believe more people will come if customers believe they are coming to PH and not CH. .....but maybe that's just me. P.S. shop locally!I am told one can respect the beliefs of others, without ratifying them.

whynot_31 » P.S. shop locally!
Waitaminnit now...I'm absolutely certain this is nowhere near Park Slope.
i extend my battery life by turning down the brightness -
Just because someone lives in PH or CH doesn't mean that they don't want to fill their apartment with "Handmade and Vintage goods". classist!I am told one can respect the beliefs of others, without ratifying them.

I love the idea of buying locally-produced hand-crafted goods, but the Fountain Fair was just TOO small! Get many more vendors and then we'll tawk!

It's true that we're small, we just started a few weeks ago a will take a little time to fill up. There are more vendors lined up throughout the summer and we are always looking for more. Thanks for checking us out though and we hope people will keep coming by to see what new things we have. We'll be closed for Memorial Day, but starting up again on June 5th. I finally did a little research on the PH & CH borders because I had never actually known. Turns out that there is a bit of debate, but the general consensus is that crown heights begins somewhere between Classon Ave and Washington Ave. Grand Ave falls right between so call it what you will...
